Semnan University Science and Technology Park Robotics Team Achieves International Honor at the 2025 World Championships in China
The robotics team of Damineh Young Researchers Company, a company of Semnan University Science and Technology Park, became the runner-up of the "Prototype Challenge" league at the Beijing World Championships.
According to the Public Relations Department of Semnan University Science and Technology Park, the student robotics team of Damineh Young Researchers Company, one of the companies located in Semnan University Science and Technology Park, achieved great honor in the international arena and achieved second place in the "Prototype Challenge" league of the World Robotics Championship for the first time.
Davud Maddah, the head of Semnan University Science and Technology Park, while expressing his satisfaction and congratulations to the CEO of Damineh Young Researchers Company, stated: This great achievement shows the capabilities and brilliant talents of our country's young generation, who, by taking advantage of the support of the park, have succeeded in shining in a prestigious international competition.

Nader Nobakht, CEO of Damineh Young Researchers Company, explained: This success was achieved while the Islamic Republic of Iran’s U-17 robotics team, consisting of 25 elite students selected from all over the country, left for the 2025 World Robotics Championships in China in Khordad 1404.
He continued: The competitions, which were held with the participation of representatives from 31 countries in the leagues of rescue, navigation, creativity, rugby, applied engineering design, and technical reporting, witnessed fierce competition between Iranian students and prominent teams from China, Romania, South Korea, Malaysia, Egypt, and Switzerland.
Nobakht also continued: At the opening of these competitions, the memory of the martyrs of our country’s robotics team who were martyred in the brutal attack by the Zionist regime was honored by the team members.
He pointed out: The Iranian U-17 robotics team had also achieved the world championship runner-up position last year, and this year it participated in the world competitions with double motivation.
Nobakht concluded by stating that the student robotics team ended its competition with authority by winning third place in the freestyle league of the 2025 World Robotics Championships, and this success reflects the extensive efforts and outstanding talents of the team members.
