The country’s first innovation center for technology schools begins operations
Semnan University Science and Technology Park succeeded in receiving the license of the country's first leading innovation center for technology schools.
According to the Public Relations Department of Semnan University Science and Technology Park, Semnan University Science and Technology Park succeeded in receiving the license of the first leading innovation center of technology schools in the country from the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology after two years of continuous efforts. This license was issued by the Technology and Innovation Development Commission of the Higher Education Development Council and is considered an important step in the development of the innovation ecosystem of Semnan Province.
Dr. Seifollah Saad al-Din, President of Semnan University, while congratulating this valuable success, announced: The first leading innovation center of technology schools of Semnan University Science and Technology Park will be launched, and this center will provide a platform for students to become familiar with the concepts of technology and innovation from an early age.
Referring to the benefits of launching these schools, he added: Teaching diverse skills and fourteen literacy skills in these schools will pave the way for cultivating an entrepreneurial and creative generation that can create a significant transformation in the educational system, business environment and economic prosperity of the country.
The president of Semnan University also emphasized that the outputs of these schools will be recognized as the main inputs of the Science and Technology Park and growth centers, and that students, after completing the training courses, will be the best option for entering the field of technology and innovation.
Next, the president of Semnan University explained the future vision of this project and announced plans to launch specialized technology centers in the fields of environment, information, software, and new energies, and stated: These centers will operate in the form of a technology business school.
Finally, while congratulating Unity Week, he considered the recent successes of the park to be the result of unity, empathy, and unwavering support of technology development supporters, and he appreciated Dr. Golro, the representative of the people of Semnan, Mehdishahr, and Sorkheh in the Islamic Consultative Assembly, as key role-players in this path.
